Salam Hello Experiences Terms & Conditions

 

These Terms & Conditions apply to Salam Hello Experiences, including retreats, artisan visits, day trips, custom itineraries, and other travel-related experiences in Morocco. By confirming a booking with Salam Hello, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any guests included in your booking.

Your Contract
Your contract is with Salam Hello. By making a Salam Hello Experiences booking with us, you (the lead name on the booking) confirm that you have the authority to bind all members of your party to these Booking Conditions. You also take responsibility as the lead name to make payment and receive documentation on behalf of your party. A contract will exist as soon as we issue your confirmation invoice.

This contract is governed by the laws of Morocco, specifically the jurisdiction of the Marrakech Tribunal, and any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of its courts.

Booking Procedure
Salam Hello Experiences are customized to your needs and are subject to availability. To confirm your booking, you must submit a completed booking form and pay the required deposit, as outlined in your invoice or booking proposal. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or another agreed method.

For bookings within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at booking. Once your confirmation invoice is issued, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Final payment is due 14 days before your Salam Hello Experience begins. Failure to pay the balance by the due date will result in cancellation, and the deposit will be retained.

It is your responsibility to check all trip details, including names, dates, and other information. Notify us immediately of discrepancies.

Please let us know before booking if you have any accessibility needs, dietary requirements, allergies, or medical considerations so we can advise whether the itinerary is suitable and make reasonable adjustments where possible.

Pricing
Prices include applicable taxes, fees, and charges unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change prior to booking. Once confirmed, the price will not change.

What’s Included
Your proposal, itinerary, or confirmation invoice will outline what is included in your Salam Hello Experience. Unless otherwise stated, international flights, travel insurance, visas, personal expenses, meals not listed in the itinerary, tips, and optional activities are not included.

Guest Cancellation
If you need to cancel your Salam Hello Experience, written notice must be sent to Salam Hello by email. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the date we receive written notice.

Cancellation charges are as follows:
- 60 or more days before the Experience start date: loss of deposit
- 15 to 59 days before the Experience start date: 50% of the total booking price
- 14 days or less before the Experience start date: 100% of the total booking price

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellation costs.

Guest Amendments
To modify your booking, submit a written request. Changes may incur administrative fees and additional costs. If changes are not possible and you cancel, cancellation charges apply (see Guest Cancellation).

Guest Responsibilities
Guests must follow local laws, respect local customs, and safeguard their personal belongings. Salam Hello is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the Experience.

Some Salam Hello Experiences may include visits to artisan homes, cooperatives, workshops, villages, and local communities. Guests are expected to behave respectfully, ask before taking photos or videos, and follow any guidance provided by Salam Hello.

Transfers
Bookings can be transferred to another person who meets the conditions of the trip. Provide written notice at least 7 days before departure. Any additional costs will be passed on to you.

Cancellations or Alterations by Salam Hello
Occasionally, significant changes may be necessary. In such cases, you may:

1. Accept the changes.
2. Cancel and receive a full refund.

If we must cancel your Salam Hello Experience, we will offer alternative arrangements or a full refund.

Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances
Salam Hello is not responsible for disruptions due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or government restrictions. Refunds or rebookings will be handled per our terms.

Insurance
All guests are strongly encouraged to have adequate travel insurance covering personal injury, medical expenses, trip cancellation, and activities. Salam Hello Inc. is not responsible for costs due to insufficient insurance.

Passports and Visas
Guests must ensure they have valid passports and required visas. Passports must typically be valid for at least six months after the trip’s end.
