Atlas Form: Tracing Morocco’s Landscapes

Atlas Form: Tracing Morocco’s Landscapes

Atlas Form is a collection inspired by Morocco’s shifting topography, where desert meets mountain and ancient pathways bend with time.

Each piece traces the fluid lines of nature, from dunes and canyons to hillside kasbahs, in a palette of burnt sienna, olive green, sun-faded taupe, and clay red.

Handwoven in the Middle Atlas village of Beni M’rirt by artisans led by Soukina, Atlas Form continues her late mother’s legacy of excellence in dense medium to high knot techniques.

Made from 100% live wool and dyed with natural ingredients by a third-generation family, each rug carries rich, sustainable color and a plush texture.

Grounded yet sculptural, Atlas Form reimagines traditional Moroccan weaving through softer color-blocking and sweeping forms that echo the movement of earth and sky.

Explore each design and discover how Morocco’s landscapes, textures, and traditions come to life in handwoven form.

Fold: Inspired by the meeting of mountains and sky, Fold reflects shifting peaks rising into open horizon lines and creating a landscape of layered forms.

Boundary:
Taking its cues from the landscapes around Lalla Takerhoust and the Ouirgane region, Boundary reflects the meeting of lake, valley, and mountain, translating their striking natural lines into handwoven form.

Drift: Drawing from the Ouirgane region, Drift reflects where shifting earth and sweeping ridgelines echo the movement of time and sentiment across the Moroccan landscape.

Ridge: From the contours of the Atlas Mountain ranges, where slopes rise and fall in rhythmic succession, Ridge translates these movements into bold natural lines across the horizon.

Atlas Form honors Morocco’s heritage while offering a timeless, contemporary aesthetic.

This collection was created as a tribute to the resilience of the regions and communities that inspire it.
